This is the brand new trailer released very early this morning around 2:30 am PST.
Evaporar by Little Joy![]()
(Note: This is a really beautiful song, and the perfect finale to my audio uploads for today)
Tempo a gente tem
Quanto a gente dá
Corre o que correr
Custa o que custar
Tempo a gente dá
Quanto a gente tem
Custa o que correr
Corre o que custar
O tempo que eu perdi
Só agora eu sei
Aprender a dar
Foi o que ganhei
E ando ainda atrás
Desse tempo ter
Pude não correr
Dele me encontrar
Ahh não se mexeu
Beija-flor no ar
O rio fica lá
A água é que correu
Chega na maré
Ele vira mar
Como se morrer
Fosse desaguar
Derramar no céu
Se purificar
Ahh deixa pra trás
Sais e minerais, evaporar!
Summertime Clothes by Animal Collective![]()
Sweet summer night and I’m stripped to my sheets
Forehead is leaking, my AC squeaks and
A voice from the clock says, “You’re not gonna get tired”
My bed is a pool and the walls are on fire
Soak my head in the sink for a while
Chills on my neck and it makes me smile but
My bones have to move and my skin’s gotta breathe
You pick up the phone and I’m so relieved
You slide down your stairs to the heated street
And the sun has left us with slippery feet
And I want to walk around with you
And I want to walk around with you
And be here with you, we’re goin’
It doesn’t really matter, I’ll go where you feel
Hunt for the breeze, get a midnight meal
I point in the windows, you point out the parks
Rip off your sleeves and I’ll ditch my socks
We’ll dance to the songs from the cars as they pass
Weave through the cardboard, smell that trash
Walking around in our summertime clothes,
Nowhere to go while our bodies glow
And we’ll greet the dawn in its morning blues
With purple yawn, you’ll be sleeping soon
And I want to walk around with you
And I want to walk around with you
When the sun goes down, we’ll go out again
Don’t cool off, I like your warmth
Let’s leave the sound of the heat for the sound of the rain
It’s easy to sleep when it wets my brain
It covers my rest with a saccharine sheen
Kissing the wind through my window screen
The restlessness calls us, that I cannot hide
So much on my mind that it spills outside
Do you want to go stroll down the financial street?
Our clothes might get soaked, but the buildings sleep
And there’s no one pushing for a place
As we end up at an easy pace
And I want to walk around with you
And I want to walk around with you
I want to walk around with you
Just you, just you, just you…
Mushaboom by Feist![]()
Helping the kids out of their coats
But wait the babies haven’t been born
Unpacking the bags and setting up
And planting lilacs and buttercups
But in the meantime I’ve got it hard
Second floor living without a yard
It may be years until the day
My dreams will match up with my pay
Old dirt road
(Mushaboom mushaboom)
Knee deep snow
(Mushaboom mushaboom)
Watching the fire as we grow old
(Mushaboom mushaboom)
I got a man to stick it out
And make a home from a rented house
And we’ll collect the moments one by one
I guess that’s how the future’s done
How many acres how much light
Tucked in the woods and out of sight
Talk to the neighbors and tip my cap
On a little road barely on the map
Old dirt road
(Mushaboom mushaboom)
Knee deep snow
(Mushaboom mushaboom)
Watching the fire as we grow old
(Mushaboom mushaboom)
(Mushaboom mushaboom)
Old dirt road rambling rose
(Mushaboom mushaboom)
Watching the fire as we grow old
(Mushaboom mushaboom)
Well I’m sold
In The Hot Hot Rays by Fleet Foxes![]()
Heat, like a dead weight
Still coverin’ the street outside
So heavy that the dogs can’t hide
In the hot, hot rays
Out on the sidewalk
It’s a river where the children go
Out enjoying the arctic show
In the hot, hot rays
In the hot, hot rays
In the hot rays I get old
I could never know what the dead man sees
I could never know what the deaf man hears
Or know what the dead man fears
Even if you were incomplete
Brother let it go
And I’ll find my way
If you want to know indian summer
I will make it back here to you somehow
What have you ever thought
Underneath the fire
I try to play god
Do my best to keep the heat at bay
Maybe that would make you want to stay
In the hot, hot rays
In the hot, hot rays
In the hot, hot rays
Everybody’s Gotta Learn Sometime by Beck![]()
Change your heart, look around you
Change your heart, it will astound you
I need your loving like the sunshine
And everybody’s gotta learn sometime
Everybody’s gotta learn sometime
Everybody’s gotta learn sometime
Change your heart, look around you
Change your heart, it will astound you
I need your loving like the sunshine
And everybody’s gotta learn sometime
Everybody’s gotta learn sometime
Everybody’s gotta learn sometime
Everybody’s gotta learn sometime
In this day and age, I really can not stand the comedy that society is into. For example, Dane Cook and Daniel Tosh. Dane Cook has a filthy mind and disgusting “jokes” are just not funny to me. Daniel Tosh is just a huge asshole. All he does is bully people. He goes way over the top with making fun of people. People don’t like to get made fun of, unless two people have an understanding. Daniel Tosh doesn’t personally KNOW anyone that he bashes because it’s all people from YouTube or some famous person he hates for no good reason. He bashes on things that a lot of people might be very sensitive about and it’s just RUDE to me. It’s not funny. It puts me in a horrible mood. The only couple of jokes I didn’t mind of his were some referring to fat people. Some fat jokes are funny because they point out the fact that chubbers need to get off their ass and stop making us Americans look bad. So do skanks and meatheads, though. Anyway…
I have recently come across a new comedian who I find hilarious do to her awkward, dorky nature (which I can relate to), and her ability to intertwine silly dramatic pieces into her comedy. Her name is Kristen Schaal, and I discovered her while watching Comedy Central one day out of boredom. Other comedians I find hilarious are Demetri Martin and Brian Reagan.
Okay, that’s all.
Dream A Little Dream Of Me by The Mamas & The Papas
Stars shining bright above you
Night breezes seem to whisper “I love you”
Birds singing in the sycamore tree
Dream a little dream of me
Say “Night-ie night” and kiss me
Just hold me tight and tell me you’ll miss me
While I’m alone and blue as can be
Dream a little dream of me
Stars fading but I linger on, dear
Still craving your kiss
I’m longing to linger till dawn, dear
Just saying this
Sweet dreams till sunbeams find you
Sweet dreams that leave all worries behind you
But in your dreams whatever they be
Dream a little dream of me
I Want To Sing by Regina Spektor
I want to sing to you my love
My only love and happiness
don’t be so blue so blue my love
take off your shoes take off my dress
I want to sing to you my love
My only love and happiness
don’t be so blue so blue my love
this too shall pass this too shall pass
but tell me, what have I done to deserve you?
must have done something cause that’s how it works
must have been kind to kittens and birds,
in a previous life must have thought happy thoughts…
‘cause there, you were there right beside me
then somehow inside me while inside myself
books on the shelf thoughts on the shelf
hands to myself, i should definitely keep my hands to myself
Love is a dangerous pastime
caught between madness and gladness of flight
nothing is wrong and nothing is right
falling asleep in your arms every night
But Love’s such a strange situation
full of frustration and anger and fear
Everything’s tears
nobody hears
nobody’s here, and nobody hears…
I want to sing to you my love
my only love and happiness
don’t be so blue so blue my love
take off your shoes take off my dress
I want to sing to you my love
my only love and happiness
don’t be so blue so blue my love
This too shall pass, this too shall pass…
